Deleting your account and data

Qur'an (package com.levent.quran, published by I-SHIM, Inc.) keeps one document per account. Deleting the account deletes that document and the Firebase Authentication user; nothing of yours is kept afterwards.

In the app (immediate)

1. Open the app and sign in. 2. Open the menu (top left) → Profile. 3. Tap Delete account and confirm twice.

The account, the cloud copy of your practice (reading marks, daily counts, memorisation marks, daily goal, the three dates of the subscription reminder) and the sign-in record are deleted at that moment. Anything stored only on the device — downloaded translation and audio packs, your own recordings from the Elif-Bâ course — is removed when you delete the app.

By e-mail (if you cannot open the app)

Write to [email protected] from the address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my Qur'an account". We delete the account and its document within 30 days and answer you when it is done. No copy is kept, and no data is retained for any other purpose.
